90s Kid

“My favorite look so far would have to be this one. I dress pretty vintage, a 90s style if you will. Fashion makes me happy because as an individual and artist, I can stand out through what I wear. I want to be different. It not only encourages me to show myself, but it encourages me to inspire another to do the same. Growing up I had serious self - esteem issues. I didn’t know what I wanted to be or how I wanted to look. Even recently I was faced with this adversity. I’ve been through different stages from “emo” to “Insta baddie”. The older I grew I realized why follow “what’s in” right now ?? Why not just be different ?! Meeting my boyfriend really helped me out a lot with this realization. He taught me being different was okay. Now I love playing with clothes and putting pieces together ! Shopping at unexpected stores ! Fashion has really helped grow my confidence. And ya know what the best part is ? Others can see it too ! Fashion brings creative people together. It brings artists ! That’s why fashion makes me so happy !”

Wow this is beautiful. It seriously almost brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for this 90s kid !
