I know I’m not the only one who loves a good thrift store, you know the one that has the best bomber jackets for 15$? I thought I found my favorite thrift shop until I came across “Catherine Trendz” created by the lovely Imani. I’m going to lay it all out on the table, this might be my new favorite thrift shop, honestly calling it a “thrift shop” isn’t doing this shop any justice, how about “Luxury Vintage”. I’m sure you’re thinking that may be a stretch, but I mean it when I say it, Catherine Trendz is in its own lane. I received my vintage goods in 1 day, yes 1 day!! The material was oh so comfortable, and the smell was like nothing you would smell at your ”favorite” thrift shop. As if that weren’t enough, Imani makes you feel like you’re her only customer in the world, she’s thoughtful, considerate and oh so sweet. (Between me and you I might have to frame her custom thank-you cards). I am inspired by the Black Women who are redefining creativity, fashion, and sustainability, it’s not an easy task but Imani does it all with grace and humility. Imani has single handedly given the term “second-hand” a new meaning. Thank-you Imani for sharing your gift with the world, and being such an amazing “Luxury Vintage” shop owner.
