TELFAR
It has been labeled “the decade’s most important accessory” by major fashion publications, it has even been favorited by other notable pop and cultural figures. Ladies and gents, I introduce to you “TELFAR”, a genderless fashion label based in Bushwick, Brooklyn created by the one and only Telfar Clemens in 2005. Many wonder why the label is so popular and I believe it is because it’s a brand Black Men, Women, and those of the LGBTQ community can call their own. Telfar gives its consumers the excitement and representation they deserve. After purchasing my own Telfar bag, there was nothing you could tell me and I mean nothing! I wanted to wear my Telfar bag with every outfit on every occasion. A brand for us, by us, that’s finally getting the exposure it deserves, I love to see it.
