“Women have two weapons : Cosmetics and Tears.” - Coco Chanel. I believe these two weapons are extremely powerful when you take a chance to fully understand them. We as women carry a lot of weight, pressure, pain, hell even children, but in the midst of all of that we wipe our tears and put on the best look we possibly can. We wipe our tears and the tears of others. We wipe our tears and continue to persevere, love, and nurture. How wonderful are WE women. I believe cosmetics are more than just a thing to enhance your beauty. I believe cosmetics speak volume to the women with tears; the women with smiles, the women with fear, the women with trauma. Behind every tool is a blueprint on how to use it and this soon to be released cosmetic line is JUST THAT! I know the owner on a personal level and she is EVERYTHING and MORE. Seeing Tawnya Darwin explain to me her vision over our revelational, insightful and oh so funny conversations is absolutely inspiring. One thing about Tawnya is no matter what she’s been through, no matter what she’s faced told and untold, no matter what she’s begged God to heal her from, she ALWAYS ALWAYS looks for ways to help, heal, love, and support another. I am excited for the release of Sereni’T Cosmetics and I am that much more excited about the soon success of this line and owner. I will be sure to keep you all posted on the status of Sereni’T Cosmetics, this is a release for the history books!
