“Collect good people, truly good people… And protect and love them, the best you can”. There are some people you come across in this life that are one of one. Those people that make you feel like your storm clouds are just small parts in a beautiful picture, whether that be through their actions, words or social media posts. In this case this individual fits into all of these categories off of his personality and spirit alone. Ladies and gents, I introduce to you all the one and only Ethan Shomo. I have known Ethan almost my entire life, and he has always been so supportive and loving of me. Thank you Ethan, it is people like you that give me a reason to keep going. Ethan deserves to be highlighted and recognized for who he is, what he’s done, and who he will soon be. Little does Ethan know, there have been times I have struggled mentally, and his positivity and encouragement has kept me going. Ethan has the kind of personality that lets you gently know that your “bad days” are merely commas in your beautiful story. It’s people like Ethan that give me hope and remind me that there are still good people on this earth. Many say success is only guaranteed through hard work and gifts given at birth. While that may be true, it is a person’s character that keeps them there and it’s safe to say Ethan’s will keep him there. Ethan, thank-you for being a bright life in my life, the world needs more like you.
