“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” – William Arthur Ward. One thing I always find myself saying these days is, “you don't have to support me, so it’s an honor that you do”. It’s so easy to reach a place of entitlement and complacency when it comes to support, I’ve been guilty of it myself. It is when we come to a place of gratitude that we leave with a newfound respect, and appreciation for a person who chooses to see the light and talent we possess on the days we struggle to. Thank you. Since I’ve connected with Zo, which has been only a short amount of time, he has shown me nothing but support and kindness. Telling Zo thank you never felt like enough, so I hope that this feature shows my level of appreciation properly. Zo, you don’t have to see my talent let alone support it, but the fact that you do says so much about who you are as a person. We as humans want hundreds of people at a time supporting us, but for a moment let’s think about curating an event and having one person there in the midst of those hundreds who is genuinely excited for you. If I may ask, who would you remember more? I am grateful for perspective, and I am grateful for genuine humanity. Thank you Zo, for seeing and supporting me, it means more than you know. I hope that I can reciprocate what you’ve given to me in a way you deem appropriate. If you would like to checkout Zo in all of his regality, be sure to keep on scrolling!
