“Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life.” - John Lubbock. It is hard for me to envision a world without art in it. Too often we categorize art, or try to mold it into something it isn’t instead of appreciating it for what it is. The best art in my opinion is the kind that reminds you that the world you value is the one that you create for yourself. A world of possibility, love, and peace. Art speaks the language of the subconscious, and tells the story of the kid that lives in us all. I admire art from all walks of life, but the art I'm soon to introduce penetrates my spirit in a different way. “MÉTIER LOUNGE” is what I like to describe as the hub for creative writing, visual stories, and short stories. The work that is created at the “MÉTIER LOUNGE” is beautiful in every sense of the word. To be able to read and see stories that you can see yourself in is a feeling every artist needs an unlimited supply of. I believe that MÉTIER LOUNGE will be the go to for all creatives and artists in need of inspiration, joy and representation.
