I believe what makes a “great educator” is someone who teaches you how to enjoy your successes and appreciate your failures. We are who we are because of who teaches and encourages us. Point Park University Professor, Richard Kelly, is the educator and influence we’ve all needed. Richard is what I like to call a “3P”, patient, positive, and persistent. Richard wants you to be the best you can be and will do whatever it takes to help you achieve that. It is one thing to be great at what you do, it’s another thing to be a great person with a heart of gold. I know I am speaking for countless others when I say Richard has helped me become who I am today. I am who I am because of great people like Richard. Richard, thank you so much for being a force in our communities, we greatly appreciate you.
