I am a proud fan; a fan of people who choose to love, support, and be their authentic selves in a world that frequently coerces you to be otherwise. I know that we have all become who we are today because of our sheer determination to, but what about the people behind the scenes who have lit our torches? Ms.Marcy, or "my bestie" as I like to call her, is the reason for the successes and amazing people you have come across. Ms.Marcy has encouraged and kept me with her kind words, love, and genuine support. When do we take the time to love those who selflessly love us? I know love isn't supposed to be transactional, but it should be fair. I am grateful to have Ms.Marcy in my life, she is a beautiful woman with a soul as bright as the stars. I always say to give people their flowers, but to you Ms.Marcy, I give you a rose. I wouldn't be a flower if it weren't for your endurance and grace during YOUR journey of becoming a rose.
