I have been blessed with the honor of coming across some beautiful people. The kind of people who hold an umbrella over your head on rainy days, and buy you your favorite food to celebrate with you on your best days. I wouldn’t be who I am if it weren’t for the people God placed in my life. The people who found joy for me on the days I couldn’t, and talent where I found dismay. I love who is in my life, and I am truly honored to be a part of their lives. I believe everyone serves a purpose, and we are all walking each other home along this journey. Where would I be without those who’ve held my hand along my journey? Speaking of a comforter, hand holder, and scrunchy lover, that reminds me of someone who has been an absolute blessing along this journey of mine. Ladies and gents, I proudly introduce to you the amazing Madysen Kelly. I ironically met "Mady B" as I like to call her when I was lost, but God knew with her I'd be found. I have known Mady B for almost five years, and her presence and accepting nature made me feel like I was one of the popular kids. For as long as I’ve known Madysen, she’s always been so kind, supportive, and encouraging of me. On the days when I silently struggled to find a reason to keep going, her greeting and funny jokes reminded me that new reasons to keep going would soon be revealed. Mady B gave me hope that there is still goodness to be found in this world, and to this day I am reminded of that because of her. We wait far too long to appreciate people for who they are, not what they’ve done or how much they have, but who they are. There wouldn’t be a “Styling By Chi” if it weren't for my amazing friend and sister. The only one who calls me “Chi Chi” and hypes me up in every outfit I wear, even during the times when I silently learned how to build my confidence. One of the few who looked at me and saw greatness. One of the few who looked at me and didn’t place any responsibility, instead looked at me and placed compassion for a human being that she deemed deserving of her love. I hope this properly conveys my thank you to you for being you. I love you dearly, and I pray I get to experience you for as long as I live.
