“When it comes to judging individuals, I do not like remarks such as 'too good to be true.' They speak as though one is rewarding the nature of evil. Yet, ironically, we still wonder where all the good people have gone.” ― Criss Jami. Being an entrepreneur is a complicated task, and with that task comes moments of doubt and sadness. One would ask where you find your contentment and calmness. I respond with, "the beautiful souls who have shown me nothing but love and kindness since I began". I believe God sends beacons of light to overpower our darkness when we need it most. I was blessed with the privilege of connecting with this incredible woman during my teenage years. Over the years, she has been committed to believing in me, and showering me with the love and support I didn't know I needed. Little do you know Julie, you've been light amid my darkness, and I will be appreciative of you for as long as I live. Julie, or “a beacon of light” as I like to call her is part of the reason why I never gave up. It is challenging to find hope in your personal life, and the world as you know it when everything keeps going “wrong”, but connecting you was one of the best “rights” ever. Every share, comment, and uplifting message you’ve given has never left my mind, heart, or spirit. I'm so grateful that God allowed me to come across Julie when he did, because little does she know, and little did I know, I needed her kindness and genuine spirit. Thank you Julie for reminding me that goodness exists and that my bad chapter was just that, “a chapter”. Wherever my journey heads, it is important that you are a part of it.
