On the days I struggle to keep going, I am reminded of possibility and creativity through amazing talents. There are people in the fashion world, who should ALREADY be in our history books. These individuals should be valued, appraised, and protected, as they are the flowers in the garden of creativity. God gives gifts to everyone, but everyone doesn't possess the anointing of God. When I think of someone who has the anointing of God in their person and artistry, one name comes to mind. Ladies, and gents I proudly introduce you to the curator of visual effects, or "Mendel Effect", the one and only Mendel Mccoy. Mendel Mccoy is hands down my favorite creative ever. Mendel is a Wardrobe Stylist; Creative Director, & Creative Genius who has taught me what it means to be "about the art". Being a creator of any kind is challenging, but being a fashion creative is especially hard. Mendel through his journey has taught me how to pace myself and embrace myself for who I am and what I am. My authenticity is my power, and I am reminded of that through the authenticity and ingenuity Mendel displays in everything he does. Mendel, thank you for being a fashion way maker, and trailblazer, I love and appreciate you.
