I've had a love for sneakers and sneaker culture since I was a child. My first pair of Jordans were a pair of pink Air Jordan 1 mids for my birthday. I’m not sure how old I turned, but I do remember feeling like one of the coolest little girls at school. Sneakers create a sense of comradery and fellowship among one another. There wouldn't be fashion if it weren't for sneakers, and there wouldn't be trends if it weren't for Black women. Black women set the goalpost, and are graceful enough to never move it, they simply make it more accessible for those who may come after. One thing I love the most about Black women is their personable spirit, they make everything better and everyone feel included in everything they do. One woman, in particular, comes to mind when I think of that caliber of Black women. She is a force in the Sneaker Culture, Fashion World, & lives of everyone she meets. I've loved this woman's beautiful spirit and representational content for as long as I can remember. She makes me feel seen, represented and showcased through her mere existence. Ladies, gents, and others, I proudly introduce you to the Trailblazer that is Janyne. Janyne is a Sneaker Enthusiast and Founder of Sneaker Vibes Only™️, a platform that beautifully meshes the art of sneakers and a healthy mind. Janyne has been gracefully giving Black women their flowers in all she does and is, and today I would like to give her roses. Janyne, thank you so much for making me feel seen, valued, and loved. It is women like yourself that show me the impossible is within my reach. You are a light and a vessel that God is using in such a beautiful way.
