It's challenging at times for me to verbalize my feelings and emotions. I know God knew that that would be a struggle for me so he blessed me with the gift of words and fashion. These two things are sacred to my spirit, so I am always enthralled when I encounter those who are masters in them. When I look for strength, perspective, and understanding I look to words, this time I just so happened to find it in you. Today I humbly introduce you to an inspiration, light, and gentle force, the lovely Chelsie DeSouza. Chelsie is an incredible Journalist, Mother, Sister, & Human Being. The way Chelsie exudes strength and humanity is a beautiful paradigm. Chelsie has a spirit about her that I can't put into words, but feel so deeply through every conversation with her, and consumption of her ballpoint verbal experiences. Chelsie, you give me hope, and most importantly you permit me through the example you set. As a Black woman, you have to constantly tiptoe around your existence, but your willingness to show up lets me know I can too.
