“A helping hand costs nothing, but it can make a priceless impact on the world.” I admire those individuals and organizations who choose to come together to make our world a better place. When I think of individuals who do just that, a few names come to mind: Sidney Sokoloff, Christina Stein, Madeline Kelly, Miss V, Imani Jahaan, and SWeb Marketing. These six individuals are what I like to call hopeful checkpoints. Each of these individuals show us all what it means to be good for goodness sake and inspires us all to do better in our daily lives. Through their individual good deeds, we saw a brighter day, and through their collaboration, we were gifted The O’Noir Foundation. The O’Noir Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a beautiful mission to help homeless LGBTQIA+ youth through fundraising efforts of fashion and food events in the city of Pittsburgh. On Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 7:00 - 11:00 PM EST at Grand Hall at The Priory, you will have the privilege to meet these inspirations and contribute to a beautiful cause. The O’Noir Foundation is known for experiences, from five-course dinners to five local chefs, to five must-see fashion designers, this will be what I like to call “a five-star night”!
