Being yourself in this world is one of the hardest things you can do. For me, the process of comfort in my authenticity has been a struggle. Overthinking and over-analyzing make things challenging, to say the least. I’ve realized I’ve been privileged to experience people who saw the versions of me I tried to hide, the parts I’ve been ashamed of, and loved on and supported me anyways. One of those people is Lauryn, Founder of “BadBitchThriftin”. Over the years we’ve watched each other evolve in many facets. Sometimes I wonder how we saw the other side of those experiences, other times I’m grateful we did. Thank you for being you. You inspire me, not because of your “resilience” but because of your willingness to be you. The amazing you that inspires me to be myself in every room, situation, and setting. You’re a force, and I hope you know that. It’s a joy to see you experience joy, progression, and evolution. I wish I could see the infectious smile Anthony is wearing as he looks down on all of your greatness. I’m proud to know you, but I’m even more proud to be able to love someone like you.
