“I do not care so much what I am to others as I care what I am to myself.” - Michel de Montaigne. How many times have we said to ourselves, who cares? Be honest! The truth of the matter is, on the other side of indifference is authenticity. It is hard to be yourself when you care too much about the opinions of others, and it's even harder to create when outside noise is coming from the living room. So what now I'm sure you're wondering. Well, I can't tell you what that looks like, but I can tell you it sounds like the multidisciplinary artist, YourFavoriteProducer! YourFavoriteProducer! is back and better than ever with his five-track Ep entitled "Who Cares?". This body of work features the one and only Monnie, and it gives you audible insight into what self-acceptance and appreciation sounds like. Who cares if you don't care is the question that I think we as humans will all have to answer one day. Maybe in this project, you will find the answers or, that diamond in the rough.
