Introducing fashion stylist and creator of “StyledConceited” Chrystelle Jules (@conceitedchrys)! Chrystelle is a 28-year-old Fort Lauderdale, Florida native and Haitian American who began her styling career in 2021 and is already becoming a trailblazer in the fashion industry. Chrystelle’s family and friends always knew her for her unique style and eye for fashion.
Her motivation to start her own styling business started once she realized how many people were asking her for fashion advice. Chrystelle then created her very own styling business, StyledConceited! Unlike your ordinary fashion stylist, Chrystelle wants her clients to gain that conceited experience once she "helps you put that sh** on".
The name StyledConceited derived from Chrystelle’s high school nickname “Conceited Chrys”. Chrystelle knew that becoming a fashion stylist wasn’t just about a collaboration of different clothing pieces hoping that it would look good together but an opportunity to influence self-confidence.
Chrystelle expressed that her inspiration comes from a host of other fashion creatives like Naya Gabrielle, Tia Monae, Tres Marie, Talijah Moet, and Aaliyah Jay to name a few. However, Chrystelle’s personal style comes from innovation and research. Chrystelle finds the beauty in having fun with fashion and being able to truly express whoever she may want to be in that very moment, whether she wants to be a tomboy, punk rock princess, or Barbie girl. Chrystelle has displayed versatility in her work and style by showing us that she is not scared to take a risk!
Chrystelle creates looks that are eye-capturing and illuminating. Not only does she express the importance of individuality but she also incorporates different fashion eras keeping these trends alive.
“Becoming a fashion stylist has been groundbreaking and influential in many ways, the most impactful aspect of being a personal stylist is being able to connect with people all over the world. I have clients ranging from Atlanta to Paris.” Chrystelle stated in a recent interview.
The trendsetter also expressed that she sees her career elevating in the next five years from the runways to the movie screens, she has so much talent that she can’t wait to be showcased to the world and we can't wait to see it!
