“I always say film is art, theater is life and television is furniture.” - Kenny Leo. Art is life, and film is both, mirroring the nuances and dilemmas of the human experience. There is an err of loss, curiosity, uncertainty and enthusiasm tied to film and the place it holds in the heart of the viewer. The place is significant, signaling an introspective and life-altering change as a result. Speaking of “life-altering changes”, that reminds me of none other than the independent production of the play “WITCH” by Jen Silverman, hosted by Carnegie Stage. This is an exciting, and brilliant production to say the least, and you have a chance to support it!
