I am grateful for the individuals and non-profit organizations who make it their duty to promote, celebrate, empower, and encourage natural hair. Speaking of non-profit organizations that have made it their duty, that reminds me of one I hold near and dear. FroGang Foundation is a beautiful nonprofit organization founded by the efficacious Kelli Shakur to help change the way Black women view their natural hair for generations to come. I've been fortunate enough to be in Kelli Shakur's presence and it was clear to me that I was in the presence of someone walking in their purpose. Kelli, thank you so much for the work you do, and the work you've done, you are appreciated, celebrated, and valued.
