Less Consumption More Creativity
“Becoming more mindful about clothing means looking at every fiber, at every seed, and every dye and seeing how to make it better. We don’t want sustainability to be our edge, we want it to be universal.” – Eileen Fisher. These days I've become more mindful about how I re-introduce my current wardrobe into my personal style. The irony is I've been a personal stylist for many years now, but I must admit, I was bit by the overconsumption bug for many reasons. Let's be honest, it's easy, and it's convenient. Over time I've learned, that it isn't sustainable and had the power to hinder me creatively. Now I've started to think and style myself outside of my own limitations by trying to find new, fun, and unconventional ways to style my pieces, and let's just say, I've been having a great time!
