For as long as we can remember, the hair of Black women has been the topic of a conversation we never wanted to have. Every Black woman’s hair is beautiful, the variety of textures, styles, colors, and lengths is what makes it like no other. The stigma towards Black hair has been around for far too long, but fortunately we have someone changing that stigma day by day. It brings tears to my eyes knowing that people like Aniya exist, who are committed to showing Black women that their hair is beautiful and has always been.
