Pride Month 2022

The purpose everyone serves in this world deserves to be highlighted no matter what they identify as. We as humans are all we have, and we should accept and love everyone for who they are. Who are we to deny a person love and praise for being themselves? This month Styling By Chi wanted to highlight and celebrate those in the LGBTQ community that are doing incredible things. On behalf of Styling By Chi, we would like to say thank you for helping make our world a unique and beautiful place.
1.) SUPA ‘ NXC
Supa’ NXC is the Pittsburgh based recording duo that is creating a sound that we’ve all longed for. Xopher and Naheen are two beautiful people who inspire you to be your authentic self thought their artistic gifts and overall person(s).

Jamir Banks is the fashion icon that we’ve all needed. What Jamir does with and through fashion is uncharted. Their creative and artistic twist on every garment of clothing they wear is beautiful to see. Jamir’s style is inspirational and should be celebrated and praised in the fashion industry.

3.) Malcom Anthony Williams
Malcom is a Fashion Designer and Fashion Stylist who is years ahead of their time. The designs that Malcom creates are nothing short of authentic and unique. Malcom will go down in history as one of the best fashion designers to grace our world.

4.) Rian - Louis // “Rianoutloud Podcast”
Rian Louis is a breath of fresh air. Rian is the creator of the “Rianoutloud Podcast”, a podcast that was created to be a safe space for Black queer creatives. What Rian does and who Rian is, is beautiful in so many ways. I cannot wait to see where Rian’s journey takes them, wherever it is, I know it’ll be nothing short of amazing.

Andre Solomon is a creative force. Andre is an arts administrator who is single handedly redefining the term “outreach”. What Andre does for artists, and the resources he helps provide them with is beautiful. Thank you for all you do for your community and city, it’s beautiful.

Kemar is is the CEO and Creative Director of the Community Organization “Black, Young, and Educated”. The work Kemar is doing is inspiring. It is so refreshing to see the voices of Black people being amplified. It is people like Kemar that will help to change our world and lives for the better. Rashane is the moment. Rashane is the Fashion Designer; Photographer, Fashion Stylist, and Model that is changing the game as we’ve once known it. Rashane is lightyears ahead in everything they do, and everything they create. I cannot wait to see Rashane at the top designing, photographing, and styling our favorite celebs.

Yash is a jack of seemingly a million creative trades. Yash is the multimedia artist that we have always needed. Angelea is what I would like to call a triple entendre. Angelea is an incredible Model, Vocalist, and Marketer. Everything Angelea creates leaves you in a “wow” state, so it’s safe to say that there is nothing Angelea can’t do.
