Beauty is exchanged through the character and grace of a person. Beauty is made up of a conglomerate of things, from style, to personality, to looks. One may wonder what it means when an individual exceeds the “beauty standard”. Are they still beautiful? I respond with no, they are unworldly. I believe beauty is because a person is, it is who you are that makes your beauty what it is. A person that eloquently shows others through their existence what it means to be confident, authentic, and honest is beautiful. I have watched Funmi’s creativity and person for a while now and she makes me so proud to be a Nigerian artist. Inspiration can be found everywhere but transferable authenticity cannot.
