The world may feel chaotic, but my desire for life intensifies. I wander, seeking harmony in the melodies of God's Grace and Sonder. The essence of who I am, the woman I aspire to become, resides in her dreams, dancing under the moonlight. Each time I stand before the camera, it's not just a photo but a recognition of the trail of seeds that I've planted, blossoming in those I have the privilege to impact during this lifetime.
I sometimes wonder if I am saying too much, but then a little voice in my head tells me to give the token anyway. While keeping the differences of our boundaries as humans in mind, I find myself restricted when I drown in my passion. I need a place to bury the seed. It's a fire that I can't keep to myself, and through my art, whether it be modeling, poetry, or dance, I always find my deepest flame through my interactions in life, both good and bad. The art of the woman that I am will make the ugliest of scars look beautiful. I wonder how long it will take for that golden door of opportunity to open? When will the world know the art of who Gabrielle is? But I find myself humbled when I think about the nights that remind me that the impact is in the moment - the moments we laugh together, the moments we dance, the hugs, and the nights that we cry together because even when at odds, the root of the cause stems from love.
This statement started as an artist's statement but now reads more like a thank you note. I am an art form that knows no bounds - through my photos, the people I connect with, my words, my struggles, my sorrows, and my joys, I embody a love that fosters beautiful connections. To understand Gabrielle is to understand that I will always encourage you to accept the love I offer and share it with those you encounter. This commitment drives me to create tirelessly, leaving behind a beautiful paper trail of images that reflect one another.
